Sharon has been working with elementary and high school students at YFC/Youth Unlimited since 1994. Sharon has a BA from Briercrest Bible College and studied youth and counselling. Sharon has supervised multiple staff and volunteers over the years equipping others to effectively disciple youth. She has enjoyed coaching, tutoring, weekly clubs, drop in centers, Bible Study groups, trips, camps, outdoor pursuits, Girls Night Outs and one on one mentoring - but most of all it is the young people involved that inspire Sharon to do what she does. Positive change or growth no matter how great or small is progress worth celebrating. Sharon currently lives with her husband Dave and three kids, Riley, Rahul and Macey in Mission, BC.
Currently Sharon run's the following programs for elementary students and youth: Youth and Parent Adventure Retreats - designed to build family relationships and support parents as they mentor their children. Jesters Theatre - a safe place for kids to love theatre! Weekly clubs for youth Grade 3 and up, running September to December. Youth and children learn to love theatre through theatre games, creative activites and backstage learning. This promotes spontaneity, develops self confidence and sparks the imagination!
