Waldi is a German Tajik, living in Canada since 2008 and has been involved in youth ministry in all its extremes ever since. His passion for the poor and marginalized has brought him to be involved in East Vancouver and most recently to merge that with his other passion: Education. He is joining YFC/Youth Unlimited, East Vancouver, in collaboration with World Vision and Mission Possible in the Partners to End Child Poverty Program - an educational work program to move street-entrenched youth out of their injustices to abundant life in dignity and sustainability. He is very excited to be working with a bunch of amazing people, including his incredible wife Ruth.
PS: Waldi was also the name of the first official Olympic mascot - a Wiener dog in the 1972' Games in Munich. So cute.
