Amy has a big heart for people. She deeply values making connections with others and is a firm believer in the power of small deeds. Her constant desire is that her life will show God’s love to those around her. Accordingly, she is very excited to have the opportunity to work with Youth Unlimited and live this out by building into the lives of youth and encouraging them to use their wonderful, beautiful, God-given gifts.
Experiences as a church intern and summer camp cabin leader have prompted her to explore further the realm of youth missions work. Combining that with a history of musical theatre and acting made Jesters Theatre a logical fit.
A recent graduate from John Knox Christian School, she plans to spend the fall semester in China, then pursue a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Management dual degree at the University of British Columbia. Amy loves learning about history and cultures, using arts of all kinds to bring people together, and keeping things organized.
Amy wanted to share a few things that really make her heart soar: stargazing on a clear night; being wrapped in a fuzzy blanket with a mug of tea on a comfy chair; a raging storm outside; laughing really hard; and seeing young people find their value in Christ. She gets a little too excited about doing taxes, drinks a little too much tea, and has a tendency to ironically dab a little too often. Despite her quirks, she trusts God can use her—and that is what inspires to step into her work with Youth Unlimited.
Together we can transform the world our youth live in—but we can’t do it without you.Take Action
