Danny Ferguson

Leadership is a big deal to Danny Ferguson and something that he desires to constantly grow in. This desire is what compelled Danny to seek the position of Community Engagement Coordinator. In this role, Danny works to assist GVYU staff on spiritual mentoring, strategic goals and initiating partnership with churches and community agencies in their areas.

On top of this role, Danny works alongside Langley YU one day a week as a youth worker, specifically overseeing their Creative Life program – connecting youth of all skill levels with art. He is also working part-time with YFC Canada to bring leadership to conversations on LGBTQ in our organization. This position gives him the opportunity to travel across Canada giving presentations and beginning conversations with YFC staff.

Danny loves expanding his knowledge and relationship with Jesus through reading and taking in podcasts and sermons. Watching movies and finding time for his own art are important to him. 

Danny loves being married to April and their lives are full and exciting with their four kids and two kittens.
