“My calling is to work alongside teens who get forgotten about or fall between the cracks,” says Jon Pue, who spends his time working in Langley as a youth worker. “The need for caring and positive adults in teen’s lives to come alongside, mentor and encourage is of utmost importance.”
Jon gives his time and energy serving the youth within his community, either through Campus Life, Spiritual Life, drop-ins or working in local high schools. For years Jon knew he wanted to work with youth which is why he pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in youth work while getting experience on the side by spending lots of time with youth and volunteering at different programs.
What does Jon do when he’s not pouring into youth? “I love my wife. I love my son. I love my dog, expensive coffee, films, comic books, novels, and most of all, my family and friends.”
Together we can transform the world our youth live in—but we can’t do it without you.Take Action
