Kenzie Farquharson

Kenzie has a deep passion for youth and a love for creating spaces where young people feel true sense of belonging. She grew up in Ontario, where she was involved in children’s ministry from a young age, helping with Sunday services and working at summer camps. Her desire to serve youth only grew over the years, and through prayer, mentorship, and experience, she felt a clear call from God to pursue ministry with the next generation.

In 2021, she and her family moved to BC, where she quickly plugged into her local church and served as a Children’s Ministry Intern. She also completed the Hair Trades Program through VCC and became a certified hairstylist, though she soon realized her calling was in ministry, not behind the chair. Her time at Capernwray Harbour Bible School deepened her faith, strengthened her leadership, and confirmed her calling to youth work.

Alongside studying Christian Leadership at Northwest Seminary, Kenzie serves as a youth leader at her church and is excited to begin working with Youth Unlimited alongside Sandy in Maple Ridge. With values rooted in authenticity, belonging, and reliability, she brings warmth, creativity, and dedication to every relationship she builds with youth.
