Esther Hoogland

Esther moved from Alberta to Abbotsford in 2021 to attend Columbia Bible College, and is now in her third year. As part of her degree, she is doing her internship with Youth Unlimited Abbotsford.  With a huge heart for the youth in her community, Esther has been volunteering at YU since her first year of college, as well as working with the youth at her local church.

It’s safe to say Esther is dedicated to pouring love into youth. A typical week will look like being part of the Tuesday Truck Team, volunteering in the local high school, taking kids on after school adventures, and topping it all off with one on ones at the coffee shop.

When work is done, you’ll find her playing board games with friends and going to the theater with her husband.
