Katie Jarmer was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. Post–high school graduation, Katie moved to Germany to attend Bodenseehof Bible School. It was there that she fell in love with working with youth and wanted to pursue this passion further. She started with the Lifeteams program and learned about meeting youth where they are at, loving people because Christ first loved us, built connections with youth through relationships. During the program, she had an internship opportunity in North Vancouver that has now lead her to become a part of the North Shore.
Katie loves relationships and connection. She loves combining that with coffee and a rainy afternoon at JJ Bean. Katie is a thoughtful listener and has a warm presence about her. Katie loves sharing about the way Jesus has impacted her life. Chances are as you get to know her she can’t help but share about how God is at work in her life.
Together we can transform the world our youth live in—but we can’t do it without you.Take Action
