Sarah Jin Roy

Sarah, better known as Jinroy among her friends, is a creative with a passion for storytelling, community, and human connection. She is Korean and Indian and loves how different
cultures, experiences, and perspectives can shape the way people see the world. Outside of work, she enjoys climbing, knitting, and baking cookies.

Before joining YU, Sarah studied Media, Communications, and Game Development, where she developed skills in collaboration, leadership, and creative problem-solving.

At YU, Sarah enjoys being part of a team that helps young people build confidence, develop meaningful connections, and explore new opportunities. What she loves most about the work is the chance to meet people where they are, celebrate their strengths, and help create spaces where they feel seen, valued, and welcome.

Creativity plays a big role in both Sarah’s work and her faith. She believes people are designed to create, and that one of life’s greatest joys is reflecting the creativity of the God who created them.
