Why Mattias Ekkert is Sleeping Outside

As a Youth Pastor for the last 4+ years, I get to see firsthand the challenges that young people face each and every day and yet most of the teens that I work with come from safe and loving homes. I can't imagine the additional stress that vulnerable youth must face day after day as they navigate growing up without a place they can truly rest, find belonging, and love. This will be my 4th year in a row sleeping outside in support of this cause and it's a night that I both dread and look forward to each year because it never seems to get any easier but year after year, kind and generous people show their support by donating money to the cause and I am so grateful to be able to contribute to the amazing work that Youth Unlimited is doing in meeting needs and transforming lives.
