Sharon Wiebe

Growing up in a family that saw the importance of sharing Christ’s love motivated Sharon to attend Briercrest Bible College to study youth and counselling. It was there that she was befriended by professors with a missionary heart who encouraged her to seek out opportunities to serve youth. And so, it was no surprise when Sharon joined YFC/ Youth Unlimited  in 1994 — and she’s been here ever since! Tana comes to YU with a wealth of experience in various administrative settings, but bookkeeping is where her true home is. Tana finds joy in a good spreadsheet and relishes in the thrill of balancing the books, so obviously, she’s exactly where she’s supposed to be! I’m passionate about spending time outdoors and exploring the beauty of God’s creations. Being surrounded by nature allows me to reflect, connect spiritually, and express gratitude for the many blessings in life. In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, road trips, and learning new languages. At YU, Wilma Holmes goes by another name:“Money Out.” This nickname has been given to her from the staff and is an accurate description of her role that includes processing payroll and payables, maintaining the general ledger and providing reports for staff and board members.
