Jeffrey Chaters

Young Dads Coordinator

Passionate about the flourishing of our future generations, Jeff is driven to be part of the solution. In his role, he has the chance to empower young dads to raise their kids with as much emotional support and as many life tools as possible. “Nobody has a larger impact on these individuals than their parents,” Jeff says. “If parents are not able to sufficiently influence and prepare the next generation, the future is jeopardized.”

Having committed much of his adult life to caring for his community, Jeff brings a wealth of experience to support his ministry. He graduated from PLBC with a BA in Pastoral Leadership and Youth Ministry, alongside gaining experience working for various social service agencies supporting adults with developmental disabilities and youth facing a variety of challenges. Through these roles, he has developed many of the skills necessary for caring for the holistic needs of the young dads he ministers to.

As the Young Dads Coordinator, Jeff works to build healthy, meaningful relationships with youth to inspire, encourage, and equip them to grow in their roles as fathers and protectors.

Jeffrey shares his life with his wife, Alexa, and their three kids: Dakota, Gwynneth, and Elijah. His passions include drinking coffee, reading, watching sports, playing board games, and working out. Still, his weekly highlight is the quality time he spends with Alexa watching Survivor on a Thursday evening.
