Team
Youth Unlimited is a wealth of programs and clubs, with over 30 different offerings! While the heart of YU is relationships, these connections often need a structure in which to be nurtured. Many programs are connected to schools or churches — like coaching, after school programs or youth group partnerships — while others are developed “in-house” with emphasis on the creative, athletics, spiritual development, outdoor adventure, life-skills development or discussions. Some programs are so strong and specialized that they are run year-round by teams of staff. One such program is Young Families whose staff support young parents, and help break cycles of poverty and brokenness. Others are seasonal, matching with the school cycle and may evolve or change every few years to suit the interests of the never-static youth culture. Youth Unlimited is extremely grateful for the generosity of Coast Capital Savings’ support for Richmond’s development programs.
