Alvina’s journey into youth work stems from her roots in Selkirk, MB, where she navigated the complexities of identity as an urban Indigenous youth in a low-income household. As a young teen growing up in Vancouver, Amanda used to dream of seeing revival happen amongst her friends and in the streets of Vancouver.
