Nate has always had a passion for working alongside youth. After graduating Columbia Bible College, Nate took a position as a pastor at the Bridge Church in North Vancouver. Now, his love for youth brings him to YU – and alongside his wife, Katie! He brings a wealth of knowledge about the North Shore and the youth who live in it, and a desire to be in this work for the long haul. Growing up in Squamish, Rebecca became involved with a local youth group and volunteered as a student leader with Young Life. From there she followed her newfound passion and attended Prairie College working towards a degree in youth ministry. “God has given me a compassionate and empathetic heart for people. Ryan comes from a background in professional film, TV and theatre. Through the years though, he has never been able to escape the calling to work with youth and his desire to see them realize the unique identity they have in Christ.
