Research shows that the most significant protective factor for vulnerable youth is connected, caring relationships.
At YU, we invite youth into a community where they belong.
Through needs based programming, trauma informed care and long-term mentorship, our desire is to equip youth to walk through the challenges they face—not alone, but with someone by their side.
Thank you for standing with vulnerable youth.

Youth Unlimited has been helping vulnerable and at-risk youth across the Fraser Valley for decades. When it comes to homelessness, PREVENTION is the key.
Many of our youth have high risk-factors for homelessness, addiction, gang recruitment, sexual exploitation and extreme poverty, but early intervention can massively decrease those risks and give youth a bright and hopeful future. Consistent mentorship is one of YU’s key transformational strategies.
For our youth workers, connection is the key. Whether it’s through one on one mentorship, a specialized program, or simply a hot meal, each interaction gives our youth workers the opportunity to show youth what a caring and supportive adult looks like.
YU youth workers come alongside youth and help them experience real change. We believe in the hope and potential in every young person, and it is our privilege to walk alongside them as that potential comes to life.
